Kyle Satterlee is the principal owner of Compass Financial Group, LLC. He began his career in the financial planning industry in 1991, under the mentorship of the late Robert A. Olsen, CLU, ChFC, CFP, MSFS, at Planned Financial Services in Clarkston, Michigan. During this time, Kyle focused on providing financial and investment planning services to a range of public-sector professionals, including school teachers and administrators, municipal employees such as police officers and firefighters, and hospital staff, including physicians and nurses.
In 1998, Kyle expanded his practice to serve small business owners, offering strategic solutions for retirement planning and group insurance benefits. Over the years, he has built a broad and supportive network composed of advanced planning teams, certified public accountants, and attorneys to help deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to his clients' needs.
Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1982) and a Master of Arts in Business Management (1989) from Central Michigan University. He also earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College in 2006. He is an active member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP) since 1996 and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) since 2004.
On a personal note, Kyle and his wife Ellen have two adult daughters, Allie and Nikki.
